  • What should I know about your candles and wax melts?
    Our candles and wax melts are made using natural soy wax, pure fragrance oils, and cotton paper or wooden wicks for a candle that is long lasting, clean burning, and true to scent. They are paraben and phthalate-free, not tested on animals, and blended with premium ingredients with no fillers or chemical additives.
  • Where do you get your materials?
    We source all of our materials from companies here in the US.
  • Where are your candles made?
    All of our candles are hand-poured and hand-packaged in Raleigh, NC.
  • How can I enjoy my candle safely and make it last longer?
    Always trim wick to 1/4 inch before lighting and keep debris out of wax pool. Never burn longer than 4-hour intervals. Set candle on heat-resistant surface and avoid drafts. Always burn within sight and extinguish before leaving room. Don’t burn near things that catch fire. Keep away from children and pets. Don’t extinguish with water. Always let wax harden before relighting, touching or moving.
  • Can I reuse the candle vessel?
    Yes! Vita Candle LOVES reusing materials, and your candle jar can absoltuely be used after the fact! We're so glad you enjoyed your candle and we want you to continue to do so! Once you've reached the last 1/2" of wax, follow these steps! Pop it in the freezer. It's that easy! Freezing the wax allows it to separate from the glass. Grab a butter knife and carefully run it around the edge of the remaining candle - between the wax and the jar (watch your fingers!). The wax should pop right out. Toss the wax in the trash! Clean out any remaining wax residue with rubbing alcohol. Viola! You're all set to reuse your Vita Candle vessel!   • What's the difference in wick types? Cotton vs Wood
    Cotton Wicks are a high quality cotton wrapped around a paper core for a clean, easy, and traditional type of burn. Our Wood Wicks create a more sensual, slow burn with a soothing sound and do not put off as high of a flame or glow. Wood Wicks do require slightly higher maintenance as they should be maintained by removing the charred wood before relighting. Both wicks offer high scent and have no impact on the overall candle experience.
  • Why does my Wood Wick keep extingusing itself?
    Unfortunately, while Wood Wicks do offer a more sensual experience, they can be rather finicky. Several variables can contribute to this but rest assured it can be resolved. Simply re-light the wick until you get it going. This is normal and won’t always happen.
  • How long does the candle or wax melt last?
    All of our 8.5oz candles last approximately 50 hours, and our 2.75oz wax melts can last anywhere from 50-80 hours depending on the scent notes in the fragrance, so one cube last 6.25-10 hours.
  • Are your candles vegan and cruelty free?
    Yes, all of our products are 100% vegan friendly and cruelty free, as they do not contain any animal products, nor have they been tested on animals.
  • Do you offer any discounts on large orders?

  • How can I cancel my order?
    It is our goal to ship your order as quickly as possible. We begin processing your order immediately after it has been placed. We are only able to cancel an order within 24 hours of the order being placed. Please reach out via email at VitaCandleCo@gmail.com for assistance in cancelling your order.
  • How long will it take to receive my order?
    We make everything to order, from creation to shipment, delivery may take anywhere between 7-10 business days.
  • What do I do if I receive a broken item?
    Unfortunately, there may be instances when your order becomes damaged while it is in transit. To resolve an issue with damaged items, please email us at VitaCandleCo@gmail.com. Please keep the broken merchandise until our customer service team has resolved your issue. We look forward to getting you taken care of!
